A Sterling Experience
Nelsy and I finally made it to Sterling Bulawayo Hotel, and let me tell you, it’s like stepping into a luxurious bubble of comfort. The staff is so friendly, it’s like they’ve been waiting their whole lives to welcome us. Our room is basically a mini-palace, complete with a bed so soft, I’m pretty sure I could sleep for a week straight.
We decided to kick off our stay with a proper lunch. I went for the classic sirloin and chips, which was so good, I might have licked the plate clean. Nelsy had the burger, and she was practically drooling. It was a feast fit for a king (or queen, in Nelsy’s case).
Now, for dinner, we were originally planning to dine in the hotel’s outdoor restaurant. But then the wind decided to show up and remind us that we’re in Africa, not a tropical paradise. So, we ditched the restaurant and opted for room service for coffee soup and sadza with tbone and fish with rice. It was like having a personal chef deliver dinner straight to our cozy little nest.
Overall, Sterling Bulawayo Hotel is a total gem. If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and check it out. Just be prepared to never want to leave.
